The collection pairs visual inspo for two close-cropped and 13 longer styles, with how-tos and the brand’s hair tools used to create them. It covers all textures from “Dream Coils” to “Smooth & Sleek.”

Veteran Procter & Gamble Exec Named Global Beauty CEO
Procter & Gamble has tapped Freddy Bharucha, President of Global Personal Care, as the next CEO of its international beauty division. Bharucha will succeed R. Alex Keith, who retires at the end of February 2026 after eight years in the role.
Known for his stewardship of heritage brands Old Spice, Secret, and Safeguard — all of which have seen successful revitalization — Bharucha brings a track record of growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

A 30-year P&G veteran, Bharucha will oversee the company’s $15 billion global beauty portfolio from Geneva, Switzerland.
P&G Beauty’s brand portfolio spans legacy staples including Olay, Vidal Sassoon, and Pantene to fast-growing newbies such as Farmacy Beauty, SK-II, and Mielle.
The announcement came three weeks after the consumer goods giant revealed its CEO Jon Moeller will retire on Jan. 1, with Shailesh Jejurikar succeeding him in the top spot.
Hairstory Goes From Bottle to Pouch to Bottle
In time for its 10th anniversary, Hairstory has given its cult favorite New Wash a new look and new home that vibes with the brand’s holistic, simplified approach to hair care.
The new refillable Better Bottle has replaced the squeeze pouches of yore. It’s the latest iteration in a serious of sustainability tweaks the brand has made in its packaging over the past decade.
Its New Wash cream cleanser launched in a recyclable plastic bottle, then moved to a series of squeezable pouches with increasingly sustainable properties. This year, it came full circle to bottle again.
The Better Bottle is designed to handle thicker consistencies and is engineered to squeeze out every drop. It’s antimicrobial, sturdy in the shower, easy to refill, and made from sustainable PCR material.

New Marketplace Serves Up Clean Beauty & Community
"Serial entrepreneur" Chanel E. Martin, the powerhouse co-founder of Myavana, aims to take on giant beauty retailers with an army of underrepresented indie brands.
Martin recently launched Her Beauty Regimen Marketplace, a curated platform for high-quality, small-batch brands using "clean beauty" formulations in their hair, skin, and nail products. The marketplace merges "the expansive selection of major retailers with the artisanal charm of boutique brands," Martin says.
Products are curated for consumers looking for vetted natural and science-backed formulations. The platform accepts qualified brands at no up-front cost to the founders.
“Unlike traditional retailers, Her Beauty Regimen serves as a community-first beauty ecosystem,” Martin says. "Her Beauty Regimen is more than just a marketplace — it's a community where beauty is personal, inclusive, and accessible to all."
Brittany Beauty Academy Launches Vocational + High School Degree Program
Brittany Beauty Academy just became the first New York City beauty school to let students earn a high school equivalency diploma while training for a cosmetology or esthetics license.
“The lack of a high school diploma has been a roadblock to many seeking this incredible opportunity,” says the academy’s CEO, Vincent J. Ferrara.
The cosmetology school’s dual-track Career Pathways Program is offered at its Bronx and Brooklyn locations.
The program opens up pathways for federal financial aid, the academy says. It offers job placement and graduation in under a year.
BELLAMI Launches the BELLAMI Stylist Society
BELLAMI isn’t only about extensions anymore. The brand is building community with its new BELLAMI Stylist Society.
The free, all-in-one program is the result of direct stylist feedback, the brand says, and is designed to give tools, education, events, and support to licensed professionals. The program’s three pillars are content, community, and education.
Its features include weekly tips on the new BELLAMI PRO Broadcast Channel; business classes with experts including Anna Manukyan and Haley Gable, and look-and-learn sessions including an extensions cutting class with Justin Toves-Vincilione.
The program launched with a bang, hitting the road via in-person education events in Nashville, Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas.
It’s also engineered a main stage takeover at Behind the Chair’s Aug. 23-28 show in Dallas with high-octane educators Eric Vaughn and Justine Marjan.
