An Even Blonder Lindsay Lohan is Schwarzkopf’s Newest Brand Rep

Lindsay Lohan — the generation-defining actress who made global headlines the first time she changed her natural red hair color — is serving up a lustrous new buttery blonde as the latest brand ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional.

The actress is partnering with her longtime colorist Tracey Cunningham, the brand’s U.S. Creative Director of Color & Technique, on a splashy debut campaign featuring Lohan’s new shade, Soft Gloss Blonde.

“Tracey is more than my colorist — she’s a trusted creative partner," says Lohan, who has rocked hair colors across the spectrum since she first went blonde in 2005.

She acknowledged Cunningham’s deft hand over the years in nailing dramatic color changes for the A-list actress in tight turnaround times.

“I learned about Schwarzkopf through Tracey because the result is so incredible every time,” Lohan says, “and it’s now the only brand I trust in the salon."

As Schwarzkopf’s newest famous face — and tying in to Lohan’s hotly anticipated “Freaky Friday” sequel hitting theaters this summer — the actress and Cunningham are appearing on limited-time Schwarzkopf endcaps at professional beauty distributors.

In announcing Lohan's "Make the Switch" campaign, the brand called the actress “a true switch client” as Cunningham shared the formula and products she used to create Lohan’s Soft Gloss Blonde (below).

Lohan's natural copper hair defined her iconic characters as a tween and teen actress in hit films like “The Parent Trap” and “Mean Girls." She reverted to a lustrous strawberry blonde for her comeback role as Anna in “Freakier Friday,” the sequel to her blockbuster 2003 film.

Lohan went back to blonde after filming wrapped.
