The 2025 International Beauty Show-Las Vegas lit up with a powerful showcase of cutting-edge hair designs, next-level style, and recognition of international world-class beauty artists at the Live Fashion Hair Awards-Americas Edition.
The premier win of the evening — Hairdresser of the Year — went to American stylist Omar Antonio following five electrifying live performances by finalists in that category.
“If you thought I was conceited before — well, now I’m Hairdresser of the Year!” Antonio joked while accepting the award, He expressed gratitude to LFHA “for seeing me as an artist.”

Held after the second day of the three-day International Beauty Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the ceremony welcomed guests with red-carpet arrivals, a buzzing cocktail hour, and eye-popping visuals on big screens that flanked the stage.
A total of 105 finalists were honored across multiple categories recognizing innovation, artistry, and technical excellence. The winners included:
- Commercial Female Hairdresser of the Year: Erin Fernandes, CA
- Barber of the Year: John Carmona, USA
- Creative Colorist of the Year: Breanne Gershon, CA
- Editorial Hairdresser of the Year: David Barron, USA
- Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year: Hiram Hernández, MX
- Content Creator of the Year: Ruby Fyfe, USA
- Educator of the Year: Willy Morales, BR
Another of the evening's major awards, Ambassador of the Year, went to Brazilian master stylist Simone Petinatti.

Live Fashion Hair Awards co-founder Byrd Mena and 2024 Ambassador of the Year Ashlee Norman co-hosted the ceremony.
Now a cornerstone of the international beauty calendar, the original Live Fashion Hair Awards (LFHA) takes place every year in Tenerife, Spain, honoring beauty artists from Europe and Asia.
Its newer iteration, the Live Fashion Hair Awards-Americas Edition, is now in its second year, highlighting beauty and barber talent from across North, Central, and South America.
It's the first time the International Beauty Shows has hosted the awards program, which announced the partnership earlier this year along with its primary sponsor, Booksy.

Also celebrated during the evening were winners of the Booksy x Live Fashion Awards, recognizing outstanding skills among users of the Booksy business platform:
